THE DATAI LANGKAWI LAUNCHES PULIH - THE DATAI FITNESS JOURNEY

Flora Gandolfo

Iconic Malaysian rainforest resort The Datai Langkawi has launched an immersive new movement-led one-day wellness package:  Pulih - The Datai Fitness Journey.

Modelled after professional athlete rehabilitation programmes, this bespoke experience is designed to elevate performance and overall wellbeing. Pulih, meaning ‘to recover’ in Malay, is a thoughtfully curated programme that blends restorative spa therapies, personalised fitness sessions, and mindful wellness activities tailored to each guest’s unique goals to help them rediscover strength and vitality.

The journey begins with a personalised consultation, followed by a preparatory revitalising massage at The Spa, set alongside a tranquil meandering stream. Surrounded by the soothing sounds and earthy scents of the ancient Langkawi rainforest, this invigorating treatment primes the body for the active session ahead.  This is followed by a bespoke fitness or wellness session designed by the resort’s experts at The Health Club, Holistic Pavilion, or on the beach, allowing the spectacular views of the Andaman Sea to inspire every movement. With the backdrop of the lush rainforest and the calming rhythm of waves crashing on the shores of Datai Bay, each session becomes a transformative experience.

The journey progresses at The Spa with a second consultation, followed by a deeply restorative post-workout massage. This treatment targets tight muscles, promotes circulation, and accelerates recovery, to promote relaxion and leave participants feeling energised. The journey concludes with a nutritious lunch from the resort’s Wellness Menu, featuring balanced, flavourful dishes designed to nourish and replenish the body whilst supporting individual wellness goals.

Pulih – The Datai Fitness Journey is available on request and can accommodate individuals or couples seeking a holistic path to renewed vitality and enhanced physical performance. For six-hours programme, rate starts from MYR1,700++ per person (approx. GBP310++), or MYR3,225++ per couple (approx. GBP587++).
